ABOUT US

The Durban Local History Museums Trust is a Trust established to assist the Durban Local History Museums in attaining its objectives. The Trust was established in 1997 and consists of not less than eight Trustees who receive no remuneration for their services which are considered to be charitable in nature. 

The main function of the Trust is to raise funds and manage these funds for the benefit of the Museum. Apart from this administrative function the trust is also involved in various other projects in support of the museum such as the development and hosting of this website and the scanning of the museums photographic collection. 

In order to facilitate these and other projects the Trust gladly accepts donations and bequests.
